An immersive roadshow to inspire the next generation of engineers.
RS Components has supported engineers and industry for decades, but this project focused on the next generation. Through its Imagine-X initiative, the business wanted to make science, technology, engineering and maths feel more accessible, engaging and relevant to young people.
The challenge was to take that ambition beyond the classroom and turn it into a mobile experience that could travel nationally, reach different communities and create meaningful interaction at every stop.
Transform a specialist roadshow vehicle into a transportable STEM learning environment that combined education, interaction and technology.
The space needed to capture attention, support hands-on discovery and operate reliably across multiple locations, while reflecting the scale and credibility of the RS Components brand.
The vehicle was reworked into an immersive educational environment, with custom shelving, integrated screens, robotics and interactive technology designed to encourage participation.
Externally, the truck was wrapped in bold branding to create impact on the road and at every location.
Alongside the creative fit-out, we managed the full operational programme. That included logistics, vehicle checks and regulatory compliance, ensuring the roadshow could move safely and efficiently from one stop to the next.
The roadshow brought a fully interactive STEM experience to children and young people across the UK, turning complex subjects into something tangible, engaging and easier to explore.
RS Components described the programme as highly successful and returned to use another vehicle for a second educational roadshow, showing the format had both immediate impact and long-term value.
