Corona Energy had a 13x13m blank space available at the relaunch of the Energy Live Expo at the QE2 Centre in London. The space was large and outside the main expo space. Corona Energy asked us to develop a concept to make the most of the space and engage with visitors to the expo.
We created the Corona Energy Cafe. A dedicated space where visitors to the expo could come and grab a drink and something for lunch whilst networking with fellow industry professionals. The space was completely bare, with floor-to-ceiling windows across to blank walls. There were also two large concrete pillars in the room that we would need to work around.
We laid a cherry wood lino across the whole floor area and printed easy stick and peel wallpaper to the back wall, with a rustic brickwork effect to match the wooden flooring. The large pillars were wrapped in large canvas prints utilising existing Corona Energy assets. Acrylic signage was installed on the back wall and hung from the ceiling, giving the impression of a lower ceiling and providing some impact in the empty space. Furniture to match the Corona Energy brand colours and graphics were installed in the windows to complete the look.
